Stefanos Papafotikas was born in Ioannina city, Greece. He holds a BSc in Computer Science (Hellenic Open University), he has presented his thesis entitled “Digital suspicious behaviour detection system for Smart Devices through Energy", in which he received an excellent grade (10). He has presented one paper at an international conference and he has published one article in a peer-review journal. Now he is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Computer Sciences and Biomedical Informatics of the University of Thessaly. The subject of his doctoral thesis is “Security and reliability study of electronic devices using machine learning in physical data streams”.

Since 2020 he is working at Hellenic Cadastre as software engineer, from 2007 – 2020 at Informatics and Networks Directorate (University of Ioannina), and from 2002 – 2007 at Unit of Medical Technology & Intelligent Information Systems (University of Ioannina) as software developer.
