Lydia Negka is an undergraduate student in the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Thessaly.Her research interests centre around Blockchain technology, its privacy and security enhancing applications in various fields (IoT, Healthcare), smart contract development, as well as the exploration of Blockchain scalability solutions and she he has co-authored publications in those areas. Her team received first place in the Innovation Days 2020 Hackathon in Greece with their CryptoCare proposal. She is a member of the Inteligent Systems Laboratory of the University of Thessaly in Lamia, as well as the research team BUG@LUTH.
