John Nellas was born in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki, Greece. He is currently a student at the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics of the University of Thessaly which is located in Lamia, Greece.

His research interests are focused on the applications of Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Computer vision to the Biomedical Section.

Also, he is a member of the Intelligent Systems Laboratory (ISL) since May 2020.
