Entrepreneurship Day

On Wednesday 6 November 2019, at 15:00-18:00 pm, a meeting dedicated to Entrepreneurship was held at the Amphitheater of the School of Sciences of the University of Thessaly. 130 people in total attended the meeting.

Professor Vassilios Makios inaugurated the event with his speech titled “Entrepreneurship in Greece”.

Afterwards, Dr. Jorge Sanchez and Mrs. Christina Vassilopoulou gave a speech titled “The Entrepreneurship Program of Prince’s Trust International Greece”, while Dr. Sanchez continued with a second speech titled “Wider Collaborations and Actions to Support Entrepreneurship in Greece”.

Then, the Assistant Professor Athanasios Kakarountas took the occasion to deliver a speech titled “15 Years of Department of Informatics with Applications in Biomedicine”.

Finally, there was a dialogue between the students and the speakers on the issues that had been developed before.

The meeting was co-organized by Corallia Clusters, the Greek business program of Prince’s Trust International, the Action Finance Initiative, the Department of Informatics with Applications in Biomedicine of the University of Thessaly and the Chamber of Fthiotida.
