Vasileios Chioktour

Curriculum vitae

Vasileios Chioktour graduated from the Department of Physics and obtained his MSc in Environmental Physics from the Department of Physics of the Faculty of Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (in 1999 and 2001 respectively), while he is Ph.D. candidate of the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics of the School of Sciences of the University Thessaly (since 2016). The topic of his Ph.D. dissertation is “Digital Circuits and Systems for Safety Critical Applications".

Vasileios has a rich educational background since 2003, teaching at the University of Thessaly in the Logic Design and Computer Architecture Laboratory, TEI of Lamia, TEI of Sterea Ellada and all the structures of the High School in Education of Greece. His research interests include digital system design (VLSIs), low-power design, and safety critical systems for re-usable systems.
