Maria Katranzopoulou was born in Athens, Greece. She went to the high school of Nea Penteli. She is interested in volunteering and has already participated in some actions such as BLS and First Aids Seminar as technical support. She studies at the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Thessaly, since 2018.

Her research interests are focused on Software of medical devices and Artificial Intelligence. The ultimate objective is to construct calculating methods combining computer science's applications that offer a solution to the demanding issues surrounding the world of biology and medicine. She is a member of the Intelligent Systems Laboratory since 2020.
