Ioannis Dimos was born in Elassona city, Greece, He holds a Diploma (1996) and an MSc (1998) in Telematics (Engineering) from the University of Sheffield, UK. He is currently working at the Directorate of Secondary Education of Fthiotida and as a teacher of Informatics at the 2nd High School of Lamia. At the same time, he is the Head of the STEM Laboratory (LabSTEM) providing the design and implementation of educational activities for primary, secondary, and high school students on STEM and Software Development topics. He is an experienced software developer and has built many integrated web solutions.

As far as his research topic concerns, he is studying the Computational Thinking (CT) approach on the basis of descriptive assessment methods.
