FOSSCOMM 2022: 15th Panhellenic Conference of Free and Open Source Software Communities

The University of Thessaly, in co-organization with the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics and the Open Technologies Organization ELLAK, is holding the 15th FOSSCOMM conference of Free and Open Source Software Communities in Lamia, on 18-20 November 2022, at the premises of the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, in Lamia.
FOSSCOMM (Free and Open Source Software Communities Meeting) is an annual national conference of Free and Open Source Software Communities. It is addressed to developers, students, and generally anyone interested in Open Technologies regardless of their background. It involves open-source communities, developer groups, and project contributors. The content is of broad interest, from technical issues and workshops to translations, legal issues, free/open source policy issues, etc.
The main topics of this year’s Fosscomm will be the implementation of Open Technologies in Healthcare, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, as well as talks on their applications in other scientific disciplines. The conference will also include an open discussion in which questions from the audience will be answered, workshops in which participants will have the opportunity to learn how Open Technologies can be applied in various fields of Science and Technology, and a discussion on Open Technologies in the field of Education.
Participation is free and open to all.
The FOSSCOMM 2022 organizing committee invites all interested parties to come to this three-day event and fill themselves with knowledge and experience.
