Equipment

The ISL is located at the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, School of Science in Lamia. It has 16 seat jobs for training, as well as offices for faculty members, post-docs and Ph.D. candidates. In detail the laboratory’s infrastructure consists of: Panoramic Cameras, Smart Watches, Bio-sensors (e.g. encephalography), Interaction sensors (gesture recognition, motion detection etc.), Robotic platform (PeopleBot), microcontrollers and platforms applications (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Beaglobone etc.), development boards including FPGAs and embedded processing cores (Digilent PYNQ-Z1, Digilent BASYS-3, Digilent NEXYS-4, Tul PYNQ-Z2),  Internet Servers and interfaces with high computing power stations, equipped with high-performance graphics cards (GPUs).   

The ISL has its own servers for conducting research and supporting its researchers.
